# PostClock

> PostClock schedules and publishes existing images, videos and text to Instagram, Facebook Pages, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and Bluesky, and reports delivery. It does not generate content. Use the REST API from your own code, or the MCP server from an AI app.

- REST base URL: https://postclock.social/api/v1. Auth: `Authorization: Bearer pc_…` (create a key in Developers). JSON in, JSON out.
- MCP server: https://postclock.social/api/mcp (streamable HTTP; API key header or OAuth).
- Your users connect their own social accounts through connect links; you never handle their tokens.
- Nothing publishes unless the request says so: posts are drafts by default. TikTok posts need a privacy level and consent chosen by the person who owns the account.
- Delivery results arrive by webhook, signed with `PostClock-Signature` (HMAC-SHA256 of `<t>.<raw body>`).

## Integrating PostClock into an app

1. `POST /profiles` with `{ "name", "externalId" }`: one profile per customer of yours.
2. `POST /connect-links` with `{ "platform", "redirectUrl", "profileId" }`: send the user to `url`. Allow your redirect origin first with `POST /connect-origins`.
3. `GET /accounts?profileId=…`: the connected accounts.
4. `POST /media` with `{ "type": "video/mp4" | "image/jpeg" | "image/png" }`: PUT the file to `uploadUrl`, use `publicUrl` as `mediaUrl`.
5. `POST /posts` with `caption`, `mediaType`, `mediaUrl`, `accountIds` and one of `publishNow: true`, `status: "scheduled"` + `scheduledAt`, or `queue: true`. Send an `Idempotency-Key` header so retries never post twice.
6. Set a webhook URL, verify `PostClock-Signature`, and handle `delivery.published`, `delivery.failed`, `delivery.needs_review`, `account.connected`, `account.disconnected`. Deduplicate by event `id`.
